Our first kidding of 2026 occurred at approximately 6:10 am on Feb 26th.

Onyx (dam) is a 2 year old, Kiko/LaMancha tri-color doe. She is a first time freshener, and we expect great things from this little lady. She is not a large doe, but she is still growing. She will have her first milking later today. Her milk will be available in about four days.

Tank (sire) is a yearling Alpine/Nigerian buck that joined our farm in August of 2025. He is very sweet tempered, and easy to handle. This is his first breeding season with us. We are expecting great things from this guy. He is just a year old this month and weighs around 100 lb now, and still growing.

This is a gorgeous, tri-color buckling that will make a great, colorful breeding buck for your farm. He will be available within the next couple of weeks for just $75 if you grab him before he is disbudded at two weeks of age. He will be trained to bottle, maybe a little later than the four days of age that I usually start them due to the fact that he is a single and I don't like removing a baby from Mom before I have other kids to keep him company. My next batch of kids is due this weekend, so it won't be long.
I tried to catch his entire birth on video, but as usual, I had to step in and give Mom a hand as he was a large baby for her smaller size. These were taken just after he was born.
